Do
I have to bring my own kart?
No, in fact, no one is allowed
to bring their own karts. We
provide everybody with a high
performance electric Kart
without the exhaust fumes of
traditional gas powered Karts.
The high performance electric
karts offer instant power to the
wheels and are capable of
reaching speeds up to 50 mph.
Who
can race?
Anybody over the age of 18 who
is over 60 inches tall.
Minors are welcome to race, but
they must have a parent or
guardian, over the age of 18 accompany
them in order to sign the waiver
for minors. Minors also must be
60 inches tall .
What is the difference between
electric and gas-powered karts?
Electric karts and gas karts are
identical in every aspect except
the power source. Extreme
Indoor Karting uses electric
karts because they offer a more
evenly distributed and instant
acceleration, as well as
maintaining consistent power. In
addition, they are quieter and
are better for your health
because they do not produce
fumes or leak gasoline into the
ground.
What special safety equipment is
required?
Extreme Indoor Karting will
supply each person with an
approved safety helmet and neck
collar.
What should I wear?
Sensible footwear i.e.
no sandals or high-heel
shoes or open-toed shoes are
allowed. We also recommend
wearing long sleeve shirts and
jeans. Extreme Indoor Karting
will provide the helmets, neck
braces and
head socks.
Is there training? I have never
raced a kart before!
Before racing, all drivers
undergo an orientation which
explains the track safety
procedures, proper kart
operation and the rules of safe
racing. Before leaving the
Extreme pit area, all drivers
are inspected to ensure they can
reach the brakes, accelerator,
and are securely fastened.
Anyone is welcome to come along
and try karting, if you are
nervous or want some additional
help just let us know and we
will do our best to make your
visit enjoyable!

length. If you are an Extreme
